Barbecued food! You can’t get any better than some good ‘ole BBQ hot off the grill. Booyah!! So, I was craving some chicken. I satisfied that craving by hitting a few spots in Elk Grove and surrounding areas just to do a taste test comparison. The three places I went to are Jr’s Texas BBQ, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and Big Al’s BBQ. All of which are delicious and made me feel stuffed with the amount of food I received for each meal I ordered. I whipped out the pots and pans and made another burger creation! This one you may not like. In fact, I may be the only one that likes it. You see, this one contains Lima Beans! Not a favorite of most folks, but I love the good ole Lima Bean! I made this burger using lightly toasted French bread with garlic butter, a slice of American cheese, ground turkey in burger form and Lima Beans. Enjoy the pictures!
