I’m originally from the Sacramento, CA area. I spent my childhood growing up with three other siblings and traveling to a few different Air Force bases with my parents. I’ve lived in California, Alaska and Hawaii. Yes, Hawaii was the best!

After High School, I went directly into the work force into the Auto Body repair business. I had a passion for learning the trade well and eventually opening my own shop doing super custom work with paint jobs and “Pimp my Ride” material. A young kid always has far fetched dreams until reality sets in. I began to lose interest in Auto Body work and how “dirty” it actually was.

I left that company and found a job in a furniture retail store. This is where I found a sixteen year career, when I was sent to their main furniture wholesale warehouse. My dues were paid huffing furniture around and  i eventually worked my way up the ladder into the position of Inventory Control Agent.

While at the furniture company I had the most knowledge of computers which was mostly self taught. I pretty much fell into computers and started soaking them up. A true computer geek I became. The owner of the company noticed this computer passion and decided to make me the web design and digital photo go to person.

Build the company website?! I have no idea how to do that. Take “digital” photos of the company product?! I have a film camera. What is digital?!

I took on the challenge. I taught myself how to create a website. I learned how to use the digital camera. This stuff is amazing!!!

In 2005, times got tough. Two years after I began the web design and photography, I was laid off from the company. With all the knowledge I gained in the two years, I finally opened my own business in 2007 called Big Friend Graphics. (‘Big Friend’ is my bulldog) My main business focus is to create websites for small & medium sized businesses and to provide photography services also.
